Pre-Onboarding Checklist - First Steps
We're super excited to get you integrated with our platform! There are a few prerequisites to go over first.
To ensure your onboarding process goes smoothly, please complete the following three steps. Taking care of these action items in advance will help us avoid delays and allow you to begin using the platform immediately.
1. Set Up a UPS Account
Our platform requires integration with a UPS account for shipping services.

Important: Campus Ship accounts cannot be used, as they do not allow for proper billing integration.

You will need to provide a main billing account instead.
If you already have access to the main billing UPS account:

You can safely use that account. Please note the username and password. We will need this during the setup process.
If you do not have access to the main billing account, there is a workaround:

Create a new UPS account.

Once created, attach the account number as the billing account (See Instructions).
2. Decide on an Email Address for Sending Notifications
When employees are offboarded, QR codes and notifications will be sent via email. We require you to choose the sending email address that these notifications originate from.
(Although we strongly encourage you to provide us the email ahead of your onboarding, it will be ultimately required at the time of setup.)
Why this is important:

In order for your domain to properly send emails through our platform, two DNS record types must be added to your domain’s settings:

SPF Record: Authorizes our platform to send emails on behalf of your domain, reducing the chance of emails being marked as spam.

DKIM Record: Adds a digital signature to your emails, proving that the messages haven’t been altered in transit and come from a verified source.

- Sharing this email address with us ahead of time allows us to provide the DNS records early, giving your DNS admin time to add them before our setup call.
3. Schedule Your Onboarding/Setup Call
Once the above steps are complete, please schedule your onboarding call.
